Texas Artist Shane Smith & The Saints Release New Single "Heaven Knows"
May 17, 2019, Austin, TX… Shane Smith & The Saints announce the release of their new single “Heaven Knows” to Texas radio today. Written by Shane Smith and produced by Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers), “Heaven Knows” is an up-tempo, fiddle-laden sailor’s appeal to the open sea.
Shane Smith describes the journey of "Heaven Knows" and what it means to the band as "a summary of where the years of pursuing this musical endeavor has landed us as a band, and myself individually. It covers so much of the grind that we’ve gone through by being away from home, the reflection on that from this new vantage point, as well as the distances that we hope the music from this album can be heard.”
The single is part of a trio of songs released to streaming outlets today including “Heaven Knows,” “Whirlwind,” and “Oklahoma City.” The album, Hail Mary, set for release on June 28, is the band’s first full project since 2015.
