Robert Earl Keen Announces Summer Tour Dates

Including Upcoming Shows with Tyler Childers, Turnpike Troubadours, and The Lone Bellow

May 16, 2019, Nashville, TN... Robert Earl Keen announces upcoming tour dates for June and July, including performances with Tyler Childers, Turnpike Troubadours and The Lone Bellow. The sixteen shows are all on sale this week with dates in Montana, Colorado, Texas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Keen is also performing with Childers at Red Rocks on September 30, which sold-out in 48 hours, and will be appearing at the inaugural Railbird Festival on August 10 in Lexington, KY with The Raconteurs and Brandi Carlisle. 

In addition to touring, Keen hosts the Americana Podcast: The 51st State, in which he features in-depth interviews with a wide range of Americana artists. He’ll be conducting interviews across the country releasing new episodes monthly. Recent guests include Lucero, Jamestown Revival, and Bruce Robison. He’ll also be hosting the Austin City Limits 2019 Hall of Fame Induction & Celebration in Austin, TX on October 24, honoring Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin, and Buddy Guy.

About Robert Earl Keen
Singer, songwriter, and entertainer Robert Earl Keen has performed thousands of shows. With 19 records to his name, his work ranges from country to bluegrass to rock. His songs have been recorded by artists including George Strait, Lyle Lovett, Joe Ely, Montgomery Gentry, Dixie Chicks, The Highwaymen, Todd Snider, and Shawn Colvin. In 2012, he was inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame along with his college friend, Lyle Lovett and the late Townes Van Zandt. In March 2015, BMI honored him as the first recipient of the Troubadour Award. Keen’s philanthropic and charity work lead him to be presented with the Distinguished Alumni award from Texas A&M University in the fall of 2018. The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame inducted Robert Earl Keen into their 2019 class with the receipt of their Spirit of Texas Award. Keen’s signature song is “The Road Goes On Forever.”
