Flutist Kateri Farrell Begins a New Chapter with Altus Flutes

Mount Juliet, TN, December 16, 2024… Altus Flutes is thrilled to announce emerging artist Kateri Farrell as the newest addition to its esteemed roster. Best known for her work touring with eight-time Grammy-winning reggae artist Stephen Marley, Farrell has performed on some of the most iconic stages in the world, including the Hollywood Bowl, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Farrell’s ability to blend classical technique with contemporary genres has earned her a reputation as a compelling performer and innovator. Farrell also performs with her own band and was a featured artist for the Nashville Jazz Workshop’s Spotlight Artist Series. Her debut single “I Choose You” released has received critical acclaim.

Reflecting on her partnership with Altus Flutes, Farrell shared, “From the first time I played an Altus flute and experienced the ease my fingers felt flowing over the keys, I knew this was the brand for me. I always get a full, warm sound and have confidence in the instrument's consistent performance abilities.” Farrell’s collaboration with Altus Flutes marks a new chapter in her career, as she begins work on her first album and continues to inspire the next generation of musicians through her artistry and passion.
