Wreckless Strangers Unleash Fiery New Single
"Shudda Known" As First Glimpse Into Upcoming EP
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, JUNE 23, 2023…Wreckless Strangers are releasing the first single, "Shudda Known," off their upcoming EP Orange Sky Dream. This hard-hitting track serves as a powerful reminder of the consequences of turning a blind eye to the world's urgent issues. Born from the band’s exploration of their rock influences from the iconic Bay Area music scene, Wreckless’ fans should expect this song to invoke some serious air-guitaring and head-banging as they rock out to this electrifying blues tune.
Originally penned about a past heartbreak, the band's vision for the song shifted dramatically during a transformative journey through Mendocino County. Inspired by the environmental devastation witnessed in their home state of California, lead guitarist David Noble and the band's collective genius set out to give the track a fresh and urgent purpose. Noble reflects, "I felt the lyrics needed to encompass a much more dire situation - the climate and the environment. We've seen a lot of devastation on that front here in California, and we wanted to bring that into the song. Thus, “Shudda Known” was (re)born!"
Amber Morris' commanding vocals serve as a vessel for the band's frustrations, channeling the power that permeates "Shudda Known." Her delivery intertwines seamlessly with Noble’s soul-stirring guitar solos and the rest of the band’s gritty instrumentation.
With their unique blend of blues, rock, and a dash of raw authenticity, Wreckless Strangers deliver an exciting first look at what fans can expect from their new EP which will be released later this year.
