Austin, Texas (June 28, 2019) … Americana powerhouses Shane Smith & The Saints full album, Hail Mary, is available today. Released in a series of chapters to their eager fans, the final chapter, The End, is out now on all digital platforms. Chapter 4: The End features two new songs: “Last Train to Heaven" and "The End." Produced by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons), Hail Mary has been called the definitive album in the band’s discography.

The band parsed the deeply-biographical project into four chapters: The Beginning, The Fall, The Path, and The End. Americana Highways described Hail Mary as “an anthemic saga through several stages, with Smith’s soaring vocals and the band rallying their grit.”

Grit is something Shane Smith & The Saints have in spades; Hail Mary didn’t come easy to the members of the band. With nearly two-thirds of the year spent on the road, the band has seen and been through it all. These guys have survived and triumphed through three near-death experiences (a rattlesnake bite, a motorcycle accident, a pulmonary embolism while on tour in Malaysia) and relationship turbulence in their personal lives to create this stunning new record. Inspired by their journey, fans can experience from The Beginning to The End the band’s trials, tribulations, and triumphs.

Each chapter has its own theme, and now, at its denouement, Hail Mary finishes with an emboldened flourish. Chapter 4: The End premiere partner The Boot hit the nail on the head, saying, “the traumatic events of Chapter 2 and the recovery detailed in Chapter 3 are in the past, and the final songs assess what is left and look optimistically toward the future.”

Hail Mary is available now.

Shane Smith & The Saint’s future is looking bright with a summer tour to support the new album.

More on Shane Smith & The Saints:
From their home base in Austin to performances across the country and abroad, Shane Smith & the Saints have not just stuck stubbornly to their musical and lyrical convictions. They’ve defied audience expectations by delivering incendiary shows, each one ignited by the band’s ability to unleash, feed on and send back the energy of the crowd.

“Take the Americana- and folk-esque instrumentation of a band such as the Avett Brothers and the harmonies of the Zac Brown Band, put them together with a Bruce Springsteen-like voice and the lyrical sensibilities of Bob Dylan, and then throw in a bit of Celtic rock a la the Dropkick Murphys, and you'll wind up with something along the lines of Shane Smith & the Saints.” - The Boot
