Calming Music Streamed over 2.4 Billion Times in 160 Countries

NASHVILLE, TN (April 28, 2020) … During this time of heightened uncertainty and anxiety, Paul Cardall is grateful that fans are finding comfort in his album, Peaceful Piano. His calming music is resonating with listeners around the world with over 2.4 billion streams in 160 countries.  Born with a congenital heart defect, Cardall knows how it feels to face and survive a life-threatening illness. As a two-time survivor of endocarditis and a heart transplant recipient, Cardall understands the importance of healing through music. 

“My heart has literally been healed time and time again by surgeons. After my third surgery, I discovered an ability to compose comforting piano pieces that brought spiritual and mental healing to my heart. Since then, I feel it’s been my life’s mission to use Peaceful Piano music to heal other hearts,” says Cardall.

As an artist, Cardall has released 4 consecutive albums that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and executive produced an additional 7 No. 1 debuts albums on the label Stone Angel Music, with an additional 21 in the Top 10, totaling over 40 charting releases and 300 weeks on the Billboard charts. An award-winning film composer, musician, and producer, he has been able to collaborate with incredible artists Grammy Award-winning gospel singer CeCe Winans, Audrey Assad, Steven Sharp Nelson from The Piano Guys, and more. He is also the winner of a Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year.  Peaceful Piano, which was engineered by 10X GRAMMY award-winner Michael Bishop, is currently nominated by A2IM Liberia Awards for Classical Album of the Year.

Cardall has been giving back while in quarantine by sharing his music online. He’s performed a live concert from his living room on his YouTube channel and participated in the streaming telethon benefitting MusiCares, PeopleSupportingArtists.com with over 30 artists including Roseanne Cash, John Oates, and Keb Mo. Cardall also recently launched a podcast, All Heart,  with this week's episode featuring an interview with Debbie Carroll of MusiCares on the foundation's COVID-19 Relief Fund for music industry members in need of financial assistance.

Paul Cardall battled long odds from birth, eventually triumphing over a serious heart disability to earn distinction as an outstanding composer and pianist. In 1997 he first won widespread notice by setting author Richard Paul Evans’ No. 1 NY Times best-seller The Christmas Box to music. Recognized by Steinway & Sons as one of the finest pianists in the world, Cardall’s achievements range from releasing and executive producing 11 Billboard No. 1 chart-topping albums to winning the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Instrumental Album of The Year for his album, Christmas.
