Martin Guitar Announces LX1E Ed Sheeran Signature Edition
Today is the day Ed Sheeran fans have been buzzing about for months! Martin Guitar has announced the LX1E Ed Sheeran Signature Edition from the Custom Shop.
The LX1E Ed Sheeran Signature Edition was created alongside the multi-platinum singer-songwriter who added his own personal touches on the headstock, his signature florescent orange "+" plus sign, and "est. 1991." The LX1E has been Ed's guitar of choice since his early teens.
A portion of the proceeds from the LX1E Ed Sheeran Signature Edition will be donated to East Anglia's Children's Hospices ( http://www.each.org.uk ). UK-based charity supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions cross several UK counties. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is also a supporter of the East Anglia's Children's Hospices.
The LX1E Ed Sheeran Signature Edition will be unveiled on Thursday, July 11 at Summer NAMM. The following day Friday, July 12, Ed will show off his Signature Edition when he performs on NBC's TODAY SHOW Summer Concert Series. You can also catch Ed Sheeran and his new Martin on the Red Tour with Taylor Swift until the end of 2013.
