Nashville, TN - April 23, 2021... Nashville-based, country singer-songwriter Lauren Mascitti announces the release of her latest single, “One Life Stand,” available today. Taste of Country exclusively premieres Mascitti’s accompanying music video directed by country music icon Pam Tillis.
“I’m so proud of this song. Not only because I wrote it about my sweetheart, but because it took me in such a different direction musically from what I was normally writing at the time," Lauren shared with Taste of Country. She added, "I was so blessed to have female country legend and longtime friend, Pam Tillis, directing the video, along with the very talented Josh Sikkema. We had such a blast getting to put this cool 70’s vintage theme on film!”

About Lauren Mascitti
Many fans discovered Nashville-based singer/songwriter, Lauren Mascitti, during her appearance on the 2020 season of American Idol, but Lauren has been performing and writing songs since the age of 7. By the time she was a teen, she was singing six shows a week in Branson, Missouri, with gospel singer (and original Oak Ridge Boy) Gary McSpadden. After earning a degree in nursing, she moved to Nashville where she has co-written with artists such as Pam Tillis, Matraca Berg, Mo Pitney, and Bobby Tomberlin. She met her now fiance, Shawn Camp, during a co-write, and Camp produced her 2020 album God Made a Woman. The record was named to the New York Times and Saving Country Music’s Best of 2020 lists and went top 5 on iTunes in country albums sales.
