Griffin House's New Single "Yesterday Lies" Now Available
Paste Magazine Hosts Exclusive Premiere of Music Video Nashville, TN - February 19, 2016...Griffin House releases the first single "Yesterday Lies" off his forthcoming album So On and So Forthtoday. Paste Magazine selected the music video of the song, which is already being added by AAA and Americana radio stations, for anexclusive premiere this week.
When asked about the track House describes, "It occurred to me one day that maybe I was remembering the past differently than it actually was. It's easy to look back with rose-colored glasses on life and the 'good old days,' but was it really that great? The past can often play back in my mind like a movie, and movies alway feel like a more desirable place to live than in the present reality. In the song, I'm trying to tell my ego and Yesterday that I know they are lonely for my attention, but I'm focusing on the work I have to do in the here and now, and I believe the best days are in front of me, not far down the line, but right here in the moment." Paste Magazine calls it, "A truly beautiful sentiment for a beautiful song."
Out March 4, So On and So Forth features twelve tracks penned by House that follow his transformative path to success and clean living. The project was tracked at Lakehouse Recording Studios in New Jersey and is co-produced by House and Jon Leidersdorff.
