Nashville, TN - June 25, 2021… Country singer-songwriter Onoleigh released the music video for her debut single “Ghost Stories,” filmed by Steve Voss and Schuyler Howie, which premiered this past Tuesday with SCENES Media. Now featured on CMT.com, the music video perfectly captures the modern struggles of being “ghosted” in today’s dating scene. With the combination of Onoleigh’s powerful vocals and a heart-wrenching story, the “Ghost Stories” music video is a glimpse into an experience that many viewers know all too well.

In just a month since its release, “Ghost Stories,” produced by Brandon Hood (Sam Hunt, Jimmie Allen, Rascal Flatts), has amassed over 20,000 streams across platforms as listeners have discovered Onoleigh’s infectious voice. “Ghost Stories” is from Onoleigh’s upcoming EP, which will feature songs that she co-wrote with John Oates (Hall and Oates), Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift), and Hood.

Originally from Champaign, Illinois, Onoleigh is a Nashville-based country singer-songwriter who has written with Brandon Hood (Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, Jimmie Allen), John Oates (Hall and Oates), and Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift.) She has opened for artists like Joe Nichols and Rodney Atkins, and is a frequent performer at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red club in Nashville. She’ll be on tour this summer including upcoming shows at the Mahomet, Illinois’ Main Street Music Festival with Hardy and in Reno, NV at the Chalk & Art’s Festival. Onoleigh is a graduate of The University of Missouri, where she earned a degree in Social Work.
