Free Family Event Open to the Public

August 13, 2018, Nashville, TN...Delgado Guitars/La Tradición Music and Casa de La Cultura Latino Americana are excited to announce the Music City Mariachi Festivalon Thursday, September 6, 2018, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, from 6:00 p.m. (pre-show) to 10:00 p.m.. The free family event will feature the Nashville stop of the “México en el Corazón” national tour which brings music directly from Mexico to the audiences across America. The event will celebrate Mexican culture with traditional mariachi music, baile folklorico dance and the rich costumes of this art form. A Pre-Show featuring Mariachi Los Potrillos and Ballet Folklorico Sol De Mexico will be in the lobby starting at 6 p.m. along with a “Mariachi Instrument petting zoo” showcasing all the instruments used in mariachi. Concession stands will be open.

The free tickets available through sponsors' locations and online at NashvilleSymphony.org.

More than 40,000 people will attend the "México en el Corazón 2018," 18 city, US tour, in August and September, which is produced in collaboration with the Government of Guadalajara.  All of the events are free to attend. Families are invited to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Mexican and Mexican-American communities.
